This year the fifth year of contest SMART CITIES 2021 will be held, where interesting Smart City-focused solutions will compete. We would like to use this opportunity to invite you to register your solution for this year’s contest “SMART CITIES 2021”.

This year’s contest SMART CITIES 2021 will see competing not only municipalities and regions but also suppliers of smart solutions, whether in form of a project, a model or a vision. This means that not only previously implemented projects but also plans or visions, which have not been carried out yet, can register.

The SMART CITIES 2021 contest will be held, as well as its previous years, with the substantial support and under the auspices of the Czech Republic Ministry of Regional Development, which is the promoter for Smart Cities concept introduction into Czech municipalities and regions, and also with the support and under the auspices of Svaz měst a obcí ČR (Municipalities Union) and Asociace krajů ČR (Association of Czech Republic Regions). Furthermore, this contest year was also sponsored by Národní centrum energetických úspor, z.s., (National Center for Energy Savings) Centrum marketingového výzkumu a tržních analýz při Fakultě podnikohospodářské Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze (Marketing Research and Market Analysis Center at Faculty of Business Administration, Prague University of Economics and Business), Centrum Města Budoucnosti CIIRC (Cities-of-the-Future Center CIIRC) and Czech Smart City Cluster, z.s. Key partners of this year of contest are, the same as in previous years, ČEZ ESCO a.s. and Axians redtoo s.r.o.. Other partners of this year of contest include companies DHI a.s., REGUTEC a.s. and iNexia, s.r.o., as well as other expert organizations and experts from the Smart City domain.

New to this year of SMART CITIES 2021 contest is Smart City Hub, which is a depository of all projects registered this year and in all previous years of the contest, and allows for simpler and more efficient sharing of good practices through projects and solutions that have undergone the five-year certification platform of the SMART CITIES contest.

Registrations start on 7^th April 2021 and end on 30^th June 2021, at www.soutezchytramesta.cz/přihláška.
